DIRECTIONS
The Nisqually Reach Nature Center is at Luhr Beach on the west (Thurston County) side of Nisqually Delta.Driving Directions from Interstate 5
Coming from the north, take Exit 114 which swoops up, left, and over the freeway; at the traffic signal go straight up the hill on Martin Way E; in about 1.0 mile, at the traffic signal at the top of the hill, turn right (north) on Meridian Road NE; in about 0.5 mile you will come to a round about, stay on Meridian by going right; in about 2.5 miles, turn right at 46th Avenue NE; take your first left onto D'Milluhr Drive and follow it to the parking lot for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife's Luhr Beach boat launch and fishing access. The Nature Center is in the building to the right of the boat launch.Coming from the south, take Exit 114; at the foot of the off-ramp turn right, at the traffic signal turn right again; go up the hill on Martin Way E; in about 1.0 mile, at the traffic signal at the top of the hill, turn right (north) on Meridian Road NE; in about 0.5 mile you will come to a round about, stay on Meridian by going right; in about 2.5 miles, turn right at 46th Avenue NE; take your first left onto D'Milluhr Drive and follow it to the parking lot for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife's Luhr Beach boat launch and fishing access. The Nature Center is in the building to the right of the boat launch.
Please be aware that the Department of Fish and Wildlife enforces its Vehicle Use Permit (parking permit) program at Luhr Beach and you will need to display a Vehicle Use Permit to park here. Persons attending scheduled environmental education events at the Nature Center can obtain a temporary parking pass good for the duration of the event.
